BSOD opening multiple programs

I keep getting a BSOD when im playing WoW then opening IE or downloading

Symantec is a frequent cause of BSOD's. I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST

Reformatted and installed a clean copy of windows. Installed avg instead of Norton will see if this works out
