    BSOD while gaming/sometimes watching videos

    Hello,
To start with let me just say im not exactly...good with computers so for all i know this could all be my own fault lol
On my laptop i can run a game and log into my account and pick a character but as soon as it loads the character i get blue screened, it sometimes happens when im watching a movie or something but only on the rare occasion but it happens every time i try to play a game.
Earlier tonight i restored to factory settings and all was going well and i was installing a game until at about 54% i got a blue screen.

my laptop is 64-bit and has the original operating system on it which is the pre-installed version that came on it.
the laptop is about a year old i think.

ill try and upload the log thingy, id appreciate any help anyone can give but like i said not brilliant with computers so simple answers/instructions would also be appreciated lol thanks :)

This was Related to o2sdgx64.sys SD Reader Driver (AMD64) from O2Micro. Yours is from 2009.

Please follow JMH's suggestions and after that you may have less drivers to update.

    Old drivers needing updating

    Code:
    000.fcl 9/26/2008 9:11:22 AM

    Mpfp.sys 4/9/2009 2:22:13 PM

    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
    Driver Reference Table (DRT)

yeah zig that was me xD
ill forget about sp1 for the min then and try and update the drivers you've listed, although i have to ask is there a program or something that can do them automatically? just cause i have no idea what these are or what they do and i dont want to download things that are then the wrong things and make things worse ya know?

~edit~ just checked the acer website and apparently all of their latest drivers are from 2009 meaning to them im up to date -_- lol

~edit again~ just got what im pretty sure was a different blue screen too
