| | i will tell you details from beginning , i have lapotop and i felt that laptop became old and slow , i decided to buy new one ( old laptop have single activation ( licence ) to Important Educational App and i thought if i could backup windows in old lap and restore it new and i make advantage of licence of app It's important to me to use my licence in new lap , so format windows install new windows option isn't favorable for me hope to help mee |

| | If you're satisfied that there's not a hardware problem, then I'd suggest posting over in the General Forums for assistance with imaging the laptop (I use Acronis True Image, but haven't done any imaging with Windows 7). |

| | Acronis True Image will make an image of your hard drive - and you can use that to transfer the image from the old computer to the new computer. http://www.acronis.com I haven't done this since Windows XP, so I don't know exactly how it works. I do know that it's supposed to be very easy when compared to what I went through with Windows XP. |
