BSOD after a Clean Format, error 0x0000001E

    Hi everyone,

Ever since I reformatted my HP laptop to use Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit I get BSOD every now and again - usually when using an Adobe CS product.

    The full stop code is: 0x0000001E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF8800B4486E0, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000)

I have attached the list of dumps for your inspection. As you can see, the problem dates back almost a whole month.

Additional: I have tried erasing, then reinstalling my Adobe Suite. The only drivers that are missing are two Bluetooth Peripheral Devices and a Standard USB Host Controller. Gone to the HP website to get a scan for updated drivers but the problem still remains.

UPDATE: It just crashed again. It actually happened when working in Photoshop and I wanted to render layers to video. Again - I've done this before! Not sure why now with clean install of 64-bit it's not. Attached the latest dmp file in zip file Minidump 02

There was a new stop code: 0xFFFFF8800AE206E0

Most of these were memory exceptions related to TDX.SYS (Microsoft Windows TDI translation driver that should be located in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers directory.) which is part of the OS.

Several things need to be dealt with

First run malwarebytes to ensure it isnt malware.

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.
    Update it immediately.
    Do a full system scan
Let us know the results at the end.

Malwarebytes : Download free malware, virus and spyware tools to get your computer back in shape!

Second run a system file check to verify TDX.SYS (and hopefully repair it)

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7

    Third old drivers needing updating
    Code:
    enecir.sys 3/7/2007 4:28:17 AM
    jmcr.sys 10/20/2008 5:31:04 AM
    TotRec7.sys 10/20/2008 10:27:47 AM
    agrsm64.sys 11/10/2008 11:01:35 AM
    Rt64win7.sys 2/26/2009 5:04:13 AM
    GEARAspiWDM.sys 5/18/2009 8:17:04 AM
    iaStor.sys 6/4/2009 9:53:40 PM
    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
    Driver Reference Table

    1. I have done the Malware Scan. Picked up a few issues. Dealt with it. (see log attached)
    2. Did the system file check - no problems there
    3. Updating drivers mentioned. I have only managed to manually update Rt64win7.sys (Realtek network drivers).

enecir.sys - Is the ENE CiR Receiver (couldn't find a reliable recent update)

    jmcr.sys - JMicron JMB38X Memory Card - (I couldn't manage to update this)

TotRec7.sys - A program called Total Recorder - which I uninstalled (don't really use it much)

    agrsm64.sys
Fix agrsm64.sys error for Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64-bit | DLLSuite
    Microsoft Soft Modem device driver
    Haven't found an update

    Rt64win7.sys
    Realtek drivers - updated

    GEARAspiWDM.sys
Something to do with iTunes. I've got the latest version, so not worried about that.

    iaStor.sys
iastor.sys Windows process - What is it?
    Intel Matrix Storage Manager
Scared to look into the update as this seems like a pretty core component.

So its 11.30pm on a very long night. Baby will be up soon wanting a feed. Can people advise me on these drivers? I really thought I'd nailed it updating the Realtek since others were getting BSODs too. Alas, it didn't help. 1. I have done the Malware Scan. Picked up a few issues. Dealt with it. Good Job

1-if you cant find a newer driver you may be able to alleviate this by re-installing the older drivers in compatibility mode

have you tried installing it in compatibility mode?

    Right click the installer>properties>compatibility>chose OS

Make older programs run in this version of Windows

    Compatibility Mode

2-iastor.sys is a HD controller driver.

3- You really do want to run the SFC /scannow. It is safe.

Grrrrr, I don't know what to do. Those drivers that are flagged are all confirmed Win7 drivers. I don't know of any updates - maybe you guys would have better luck? I tried googling.

Now I'm getting a different stop code. This happened when trying to launch Adobe After Affects CS6. (BTW I do meet the minimum system specifications).

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    0x000000D1
    FFFFFFFF880016A14C5 D8800168B000 Datestamp 4ce79332

I'm going mad now. There must be a way to fix this happening.

Oh, and I did run the SFC /scannow. It did nothing.

    How were they confirmed?

    we need the dmp files

might want to add the event viewer logs

Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:

    Click Start Menu
Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
    Expand Custom Views
    Click Administrative Events
    Right click Administrative Events
Save all Events in Custom View As...
Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
    Upload the .zip file here.

Ok done Event Viewer as requested.

You'll probably find other errors that have occurred recently as well. But its the BSOD that worries me the most.

    See attached.

BTW, I say the drivers were confirmed in that the ones I couldn't update seemed to indicate I had the most recent driver for Win7 64-bit available.

    Thanks for your help, ZigZag!

Ok, extra steps that did not seem to help.

Ran CCleaner and did a registry cleanup. Didn't help.
Ran verifier.exe and disabled driver verification by deleting settings. Didn't help.

    Please help!
    :)

DONT RUN Ccleaner. It erases the DMP files and any useful info in event viewer.

Verifier is SUPPOSED to make your system crash. If it didnt keep running it, if it did upload the DMP file as it contains the answer.
