BSOD random occurances

Hi guys,

I have been getting random BSODs here and there and is a bit stumped on what to do. So far this is what I have done:

1 - Memory scan
2 - HDD scan (checkdisk utility)
3 - Update all drivers
4 - Performed windows updates
5 - Install windows 7 AND repeated (3 and 4)

And I am still getting random BSODs.

Attached are my BSODs I am getting on my Windows 7. I have entered all my system details when registering, and this is my first time posting here, so if any help is appreciated.

This is my system spec:

OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit CPU Intel Quad Core Q9550 @2.83GHz Motherboard Gigabyte ep45t ud3r f6 Memory Corsair XMS3-133 x4 Graphics Card(s) MSI nVidia GeForce GTX 260 Sound Card On Board Monitor(s) Displays Samsung SyncMaster 2333sw Screen Resolution N/A Hard Drives Seagate ST31000528AS 1T x2 PSU Corsair 650Watts Case Antec 900 Cooling Megahalem Heatsink + 14" fan
This is what windbg returns (on the latest BSOD dump):

Please provide this info for a more detailed analysis of your issues: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

Right now it looks like you're starting the pattern of a hardware problem (multiple BSOD's with different error codes and causes).
Hardware problem patterns can include:
- borked (broken) hardware
- overclocking
- compatibility issues
- low-level drivers
- malware

If it's broken hardware, then start with the free hardware diagnostics here: Hardware Diagnostics

nVidia video drivers are very, very old and could be causing this problem. Please update your video drivers from the nVidia website: NVIDIA DRIVERS 301.42WHQL

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

- Further info on BSOD error messages available at: http://www.carrona.org/bsodindx.html
- Info on how to troubleshoot BSOD's (DRAFT): http://www.carrona.org/userbsod.html
- How I do it: http://www.carrona.org/howidoit.html

Thank you for your help.

After updating to the newest nVida driver plus going through GA's list of newest drivers and update them all, I still get BOSDs.

Attached is the latest minidump. This happened when I enabled Windows Defender and scan the full system.

This is what windbg gives me

Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

One thing I noted is that I cannot connect to my Local network, tho Internet works. Further more, using Realtek Diagnostic, I see that my network card (onboard) is working fine.

I saw some warning about posting a jcgriff2 folder, so I did that and attached. Note this is running in safemode + networking. Please advise if this should be ran in normal.

Regards.

Please run the free diagnostics located here: Hardware Diagnostics
This could still be a memory problem (try the test that I recommend above), but it could also be hard drive or video (and other things also). At a minimum run:
- Memory diag (again)
- Hard drive diag
- at least 2 of the malware scans (to ensure that your current protection isn't compromised)
- Furmark
- Prime95

Most of the info that I need is OK when the report is run from Safe Mode - but there's a few things that might need normal mode. Let's have a look at the hardware diagnostic results before generating a new set of reports.

You only have 53 Windows Updates since SP1 - most systems have 75 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get all available updates.

I ran 8 memory dumps dating from 24 and 25 May 2012
There were 5 different BSOD error codes and 4 different causes blamed.
This is most likely a hardware problem as I stated in my previous post

I note that MSINFO32 shows issues with this device:
Quote:
Security Processor Loader Driver ROOT\LEGACY_SPLDR\0000 This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.
This error is most common with malware infections (or damage that was caused by malware infections). Try running SFC.EXE /SCANNOW from an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt.

Your JMicron RAID drivers date from 2009, please update them.
More info on the driver here: http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=jraid.sys

Your networking drivers also date from 2009, please update them.
More info on these drivers here:
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=RtNdPt60.sys
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=Rt64win7.sys

It's still most likely that this is a hardware problem, so the hardware diagnostics still need to be run.
After that I'd suspect damage to the OS from the virus infection. If the system is clean, then we can start with trying to fix that - if it's not clean then you'll need some help from the folks in the Security forums in ensuring that the problem is removed.
The other factors are still a concern, but the steps that I outlined should help to ensure that they don't remain an issue.

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

Hi,

Just stop by to say that I have the problem sorted out. Turned out it's the raid driver that caused the issues. (jraid.sys).

Aside from that, I did multiple tests on my RAM (memtest, testing slots and sticks and combinations) and HDD (Seatool) and they all returned fine.

Once I managed to get jraid.sys to install properly, everything works fine after, so I suspect that is where the problem lies.

Thank you very much usasma. Your posts and website were very helpful in trying to get through this frustrating task.

Regards.
