BSOD. it keeps auto restarting, safe mode works tho.

here's the file. I could not get the perfmon /report to work. it says "path" was wrong.
I also tried to do the registry and driver update programs provided here and both gave me "windows installer cannot be accessed" error. everything done in safe mode because I'm having trouble with normal mode.

basically, I was on a website that I visit often before and everything was good and dandy then suddenly, a popup said something along the line of having to update java or something in order to correctly view it so I just said "accept" and then it said that I have to restart so I said "ok" to that as well. so it did and the desktop showed up but after few seconds it gave me the BSOD and stayed there 2-3 seconds before restarting on it own again. if I don't go into safe mode and do it normal mode, the whole process would repeat over and over again. the BSOD is a page fault in a non paged area type I believe. I tried malware clean, system restore, chkdsk /fix, and restarting many times. < all done in safe mode.

thank you if anyone can help.

I have windows 7 home 64 oem.
the computer is less than a year old.

Sorry you were missed. We have been shorthanded of late in Crashes and Debugging. You replying to your own thread twice also may have given the impression that someone was already helping you.

Crashes primarily point to McAfee. Use How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee products using the McAfee Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR.exe) to uninstall it and then download a fresh copy. Install the fresh copy. Your version may be corrupt or out of date.

If the above does not work, use How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee products using the McAfee Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR.exe) to remove McAfee for good.

Then replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows and see if the crashes continue to occur.
