Um I'm not sure what to do because when I try to install the other graphics driver it says "This NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows" whenever I put the edited .inf file but if I don't put the edited .inf file it says it is not compatible so what should I do? It's also the same thing with the one on the nvidia website

What were the results of your system file check (sfc /scannow)?

Alright, in order to provide you with further assistance, please fill in your system specs in your profile and not in a post in this thread: System Info - See Your System Specs.

Provide your make and model of the laptop in your specs.

No I'm pretty sure I downloaded this one Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]

Edit: Nevermind I must have downloaded the wrong driver the first time. I'll come back and make a new thread if I ever have any problems with this driver.

No need to make a new thread. You may continue in this one if you still need help. Let us know either way whether the problem was solved or you need more help.
