Windows Event ID 1003 ISCT Agent Error

    Good day to all.

I hope this is right place for this thread. I recently opened event viewer and found this error:

The description for Event ID 1003 from source ISCT Agent cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

CAgentState:oPeriodicSuspendResume ****Error in initialize NetDetect, status = 0x2

the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table

Any and all help is appreciated as I am scratching my head trying to figure this out. Thanks in advance.

Did you at some time have Intel Smart Connect Technology installed on your computer?

Yes, as a matter of fact, my rig is built with it. I did some looking around the net and found it was intel smart tech. However, I don't know why it would be shut off or corrupted since I haven't really messed with Intel Smart Tech configurations.

To add insult to injury my rig just shut itself down unexpectedly about an hour ago! SOOOO confused.

    thx for reply.

Try re-installing the Intel Smart Connect driver ver:2.0.1083.0 from ASRock > Products > Fatal1ty Z77 Professional

OK so it turns out that my Intel SSD was disconnected. HOW? I don't know! I reinstalled drivers anyway seems to be fine for now. Thanks for help.

You're welcome. Let us know when you have had a chance to make sure that was the only problem.

Well, everything was ok, I found other problems affecting my system so i did a fresh install of OS, HDD and SSD in RAID. My system was spazzing out for some reason so I just reinstalled everything. Its fresh build so eh what they hey right. thanks anyways.

I have some concerns with the SSD and HDD config but i don't think that's a topic for this area...I will post elsewhere.
