DXGI.DLL error related to Windows Live Movie Maker

    Interesting that previous to the install, the cursor would jump around from time to time (not every use) and a restart took care of it. Now, it is a different sort of irritation, it isn't constant, freezes up, or shrinks things. I have the latest update for driver from Acer. Ran the SFC/ SCANNOW AND there were no integrity violations. So, it is a mystery, I am holding off on downloading Windows Live Moviemaker and working on my sister's video tribute.

    P.S. How do you access option 3 if there are errors. I don't remember that when I first ran it prior to the install and got errors.

    OPTION THREE of the tutorial; not OPTION THREE of sfc. The tutorial has three options, and the third gives instructions on what to do if sfc returns errors.

I can't seem to save a video using Live Movie maker. I've tried everything! I get the message "Movie maker cannot save your movie using the selected setting" with the Error Code 0xC00D0BC4. HELP! Thanks, Jeff
I installed Live Photo Gallery and Live Movie Maker. Both seem to work OK but have not tried all features yet. When ever I use Live Movie Maker I get the following Event Error: 49386 Anyone else see this error? Looks like it only likes 32bit systems. Thanks, Jim :cool:
