At this point, I think the best option would be a Repair Install of Windows.

Before doing the repair install, read through Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. You do not have to do those steps, but you may needs steps 1-3 and steps 5-7.

since may 28 i havent installed any program , but in may 29th the icons disappeared
and i saw some kind of new skype and office 2007 update in add or remove programs .
mb the skype or office update deleted my drive icons ?

If you are using any registry cleaning software, it can delete those keys.

If you are not using any registry cleaning software, it may have just been due to registry corruption. That can occur if there is hard disk corruption or bad sectors on the hard disk, so you should consider running Disk Check with both boxes checked.

Please follow the https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html to provide us with your Event Viewer logs. Those may indicate what happened to the registry.

We don't need .dmp files, just the logs that are generated using those instructions...

Didn't hack your computer. Also didn't find out why those registry entries are missing. I would chalk it up to a random occurrence... Sorry I couldn't give you more information than that. I did my best to find out what happened for you.

By the way, there is no personally identifiable information in those logs, but if you feel more comfortable with them off the internet, you may remove them now. :)
