new laptop, BSOD caused by ntoskrnl.exe+7f1c0?

Hello, i recently got a new HP Pavillion dv6-6c50us about a week ago.

Today i received a BSOD while listening to turntable.fm . For those who dont know what turntable.fm is, its like pandora, but theres DJ's that take turns playing music.
i have no idea how that can give me a BSOD.

Having only gotten this laptop a week ago, i was terrifed. So i restarted my computer and restored to a previous point and everything seemed normal, until i noticed my physical memory was at 50%+ when i had nothing open. usually it is at 19%. Windows and BIOS is reading the laptop only having 2GBs of RAM, when it has really 6GBs. So i reinsert the 4GB ram stick, and everything is back to normal. 6 Hours later, i was listening to turntable.fm again and i was able to recreate the same BSOD. im guessing the 4gb ram stick is going bad ? idk.

i also ran a memtest86+ and both rams seems to pass. should i do 7-8 passes?


i decided to experment and found that if i switch around the ramsticks in the slots, i found when i put the 4gb ramstick into the 2gb original ramslot, the computer would now sometimes read 4gbs of ram instead of sometimes reading 2gb of ram from earlier. so im guessing the ramslot where the 2gb ramstick originally sat is faulty. or i could be wrong idk.

alright fixed. i could do the perfmon /report command, so i had to do it the other way by making a new data collector set name for user defined.
