BSOD after plugin of External HD

Unsure of cause - I plugged in an external HD and was accessing files from a back-up folder. Left my computer and when I returned the BSOD was up. Restarted and it is now working fine. I have attached the necessary files as per the BSOD Posting Instructions. Sorry I have no further info.

The 2 latest memory dumps blame your Realtek USB card reader (RtsUStor.sys) driver.
    Please:
    - look in Device Manager and determine the model number of your USB card reader (RTS5139/RTS5129 or RTS5159/RTS5138)
    - download a fresh copy of the driver from here (both USB devices are on this page, as are PCIe - read description carefully!): Realtek
    - uninstall the current software from your system.
    - install the freshly downloaded drivers
    - monitor for further BSOD's.

Your EgisTec Fingerprint Biometrics drivers date from 2009. Please update them also.

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

    - Further info on BSOD error messages available at: http://www.carrona.org/bsodindx.html
    - Info on how to troubleshoot BSOD's (DRAFT): http://www.carrona.org/userbsod.html

Thanks for your reply. OK looking under Device Manager I can find no reference to a Realtek USB card reader. The only device I have from Realtek is 'Realtek High Definition Audio' under 'Sound, video and game controllers'. I downloaded the ReaderChecker from the above website that you posted and it stated 'Sorry,no realteak cardreader is found!'
    Am I missing something?

The Aspire 5552 has a card reader and the driver is here: Acer Support: Downloads & Support Documents - Notebook / Aspire / Aspire 5552
I don't like these drivers as they're not as updated as the one's at the Realtek site - but they're better than nothing.

If you've tried both of the USB drivers from the Realtek site, then try those from the Acer site.
