BSOD when using Hauppauge 2250 TV Tuner

I was told this would be a better topic for my issue so this has been moved from another thread.

So I have a brand new (3 week old) desktop that i am trying to replace my cable with. I have an also brand new Hauppauge 2250 tuner I am trying to install on it. Every time I mange to get it installed it will run for a few minutes and then I get a BSOD of the IRQL not less or equal variety. When I run the BSOD check it seems to involve the hcw89.sys file and the ntoskrnl file which makes sense to me the hauppauge driver is not jiving with something in the windows system. I have used the BSOD upload application that was on this forum if someone were willing to look at it and let me know what i could possibly do to fix this issue. As nice as the guy from Dell support was his fix was just sending me a new card and from what I have read online and what I could decipher from my dump file it seems to be software related not hardware. This is my first time ever using a forum so if I have done anything incorrectly etiquette wise I apologize.
    Look forward to your help!
I have attached my BSOD info.

p.s. I have also updated all my sound and video drivers and ran all my windows updates and used the most recent Hauppauge driver for windows 7 x64 on their website, with the same issue.

Dell wireless device is disabled. Please re-enable it and update it's drivers.

Recently we've seen a number of BSOD's blamed on HotSpot Shield. Please uninstall this program until the system is stabilized.

Video drivers date from 2011. Please update to the latest available Win7 compatible version at Global Provider of Innovative Graphics, Processors and Media Solutions | AMD

McAfee is mentioned in the memory dumps (but it's not certain that it's a cause). If you'd like, try this procedure to rule it out:
    Anti-Virus Removal:
    Please do the following:
    - download a free antivirus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus
    - uninstall the McAfee from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
    - remove any remnants of McAfee using this free tool: http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS100507
    - IMMEDIATELY install and update the free antivirus, then check to ensure that the Windows Firewall is turned on.
    - check to see if this fixes the BSOD's
NOTE: NEVER run more than 1 anti-virus, firewall, Internet Security/Security Center application at the same time.
As you noted, the BSOD blames hcw89.sys. If you've completed the steps above, and you've replaced the Hauppauge software with a freshly downloaded copy - then you have to suspect the TV card itself. Since it's brand new, contact the place you purchased it from to see about returning it for another card.

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs
