    BSOD after windows update

I had a windows update I belive yesterday and ever since then I've been getting blue screens. At first it was while I was playing GTA IV so I thought nothing of it but then it recently started happening after about 5 mins after startup. I'm posting this in safe mode right now and will attach a dmp file

I'm starting to think its not a problem with the windows update but I cannot tell you for sure because I remember having a blue screen about a month ago but didnt think much of it.

    Hi there,

The easiest option would be to uninstall the Windows Update from yesterday (it is possible to check the list of installed updates) , restart your PC and check again. If you recall installing anything else, try removing them as well.

    (or)

Restart in the Windows Safe Mode and carry out a System Restore to restore your computer to a point in time when everything was in order.

Thank you for the info but as I said before I'm not 100% sure that the windows update started the problem, I will still check if removing it will solve the problem but have you checked the files I sent? Thanks

I recently got off the phone with cyberpowerPC and they told me I need to check if its a problem with the ram and if I still get the problem I need to check the video card.
