Windows 7: bsod stop 0x000000f4

Hi there,

I have been receiving bsod stop 0x000000f4, 8008401950,8008401c30 errors.

i5 2500 k
win 7 pro 64 bit
evga gtx570
64 gb crucial ssd
1 tb wd caviar black

sometimes it hangs where you can move the mouse cursor but can't click or close any programs. when i reboot it sometimes freezes at the check ide drive.

is it my ssd that is going bad? memory?

Also, I note that you have Microsoft Security Essentials and Kaspersky installed on the system. You should choose one or the other. Having two security programs that accomplish the same tasks can cause conflicts because they try to use the same system resources simultaneously.

If you want to keep Kaspersky, update to the 2012 version. You are currently running the 2010 version...

If you upgrade Kaspersky, make sure to uninstall the current version to prevent remnants from the old software from conflicting with the system. You will also need to uninstall it if you want to use Microsoft Security Essentials instead: Removal tool for Kaspersky Lab products
