Asus Updater was uninstalled before I used Verifier the first time, and I haven't used it since I ran it the day you suggested it. I disabled it after I ran it those times, and haven't crashed since.

Going to do some prime95 testing, and will get back to you with the info on temps and such. So far two tests running overnight ran fine, the blend test and the second option, haven't run the first one yet.

All three tests have run for over 6 hours each, no issues.

Is there anything built into win7 ( very new to it ) that monitors CPU temp and or GPU temp? Or am I going to have to get a program to do that. If so, what do you recommend?

Ah, sorry. Didn't realize I had not given those options yet.
Use the following programs to monitor the temperatures.

Hello.

I know its been a while since my last post, RL has gotten hectic and I haven't spent much time at the comp.

Proud to report 0 crashes since my last post.

The only two things I have done since your last advice that wasn't posted by you on here, was the following.

The crashing only happened when I was idle and usually afk. I disabled the computer going into Hibernation mode to run prime 95 for extended periods of time. So I did change that.

Prime 95 runs forever with no issues whatsoever. All 3 tests.

Also, my mouse ( an older logitech g5 IIRC ) had some old drivers, so I updated them and removed the old ones. I have read that some people with Razor Naga mice and or other mice have had issues with them, so I made sure to update them.

Haven't had the BSOD in a long time, and It feels really good.

Of course, who knows if it will come back or not, but for now, keeping my fingers crossed that everything is ok.

Ty again for all your help, and patience though this.

You're welcome. I was also aware that older drivers for certain mice cause issues. Sorry I neglected to mention/notice that.

I am glad you were able to find that on your own, though. Nice work!

Two BSODS since last we have spoken.

One is the same type, one is not. Both happened while system was idle again, not while running anything.

Included files again.

Puzzling.

Crashes may indicate a corrupted install of Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE). Uninstall MSE through Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Uninstall a program. Download a fresh installer from Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows and install MSE again with the fresh installer.

Havent crashed since. Things are looking good.

One thing to note, when i built the machine, my memory defaulted to under clocking itself.

I have clocked the memory correctly since uninstalling and reinstalling MSE.

Also installed a new gpu, an Nvidia EVGA GTX 480.

System is very stable and no crashes.

Things were great for a while.

Today woke up to a blue screen.

Restarted pc, and blue screen again.

Got the new tool, used it, and used the old one too, included the reports here.

These errors were different ( at least one of them ) from what the previous ones were from IIRC.

Any help again would be great.

Not sure if this is isolated or not, hopefully it is.
