    BSOD 0x3B / 0x1E @ ntoskml.exe during gaming


    Over the last few days I've been having constant crashes. It's not always a bluescreen, sometimes just an instant restart, others a total lockup with audio still coming out. (Just a loud continuous noise of what it was playing before crash) Sometimes it actually blue screened so I did get mini dumps. They each point at ntoskrnl.exe so I don't really know what the problem is. These errors occur during using xSplit streaming software, playing League of Legends or Diablo 3, and occasionally just at random.

    AMD PHenom II X4 955
    MSI gd70-FX
    2x3GB G.Skill 1600Mhz RAM
    GTX 470

    All stock, nothing overclocked.

    Your Nvidia drivers need updating:

    Thanks to FredeGail for the instruction.
    Different culprits pointed towards your ATI Graphics Driver. Driver Sweeper will ensure that you'd have a clean install at the end of the procedure, and by that no leftover files that'd bork the system.

    NVIDIA

    • Make your way to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers and download the latest driver for your card, save it to your desktop for instance
    • Uninstall the Graphic driver you currently have and all its extensions (do not reboot yet)






    • Select all the NVIDIA components and analyse them


    • Clean them, head into Windows without internet and install the driver you've downloaded previously

Seems it doesn't matter what I am doing, I will get a BSOD after the computer has ran for a bit. It has crashed while playing flash games, Steam games, and just sitting and idling. I have pulled the computer apart and cleaned any dust in there just in case it was a dust insulated overheating issue....
