Well that ocean theory of yours is starting to look pretty good right about now. It was going so well. If it helps, it seems to like BSODing while I'm watching a video on YouTube in full screen, this is the 3rd or 4th time it has happened while doing that.

Have a look at the Usual Causes section at this link: BSOD Index
Please double check to see if I've missed anything there.

From rereading the thread it appears that there's a memory problem and a video problem that pops up - in that case I'd suspect the memory on the video card. Try the video stress tests here (there's 2 sections of them - the second one is more likely to pertain to your "suspected" issues): Additional Hardware Diagnostics

FYI - we rule out 3rd party drivers first (non-Microsoft stuff that's the most common cause of BSOD's)
Then it's either hardware or Windows - and hardware problems are much more likely than Windows.

If we don't find anything in the hardware, then we go for a clean Windows reinstall. If that doesn't fix it, then we're back to hardware again (and we'll have to start replacing parts as a troubleshooting technique.

So, please ensure that you've completed all the hardware diagnostics from here: Hardware Diagnostics

Once that's completed, if it doesn't reveal anything, then it's time for a clean install of Windows (instructions here: Canned Speeches )

If that doesn't fix it, then it's time for the "stripdown": Hardware Stripdown Troubleshooting

    Good luck!
