I would uninstall Trend Micro and install Microsoft Security Essentials. If the BSODs still don't stop you can always install TM again.

Received another BSOD while playing this evening, same bugcheck with the driver being atikmdag.sys again. I have installed the latest CAP like BugMeister suggested. Problem isn't solved obviously but it does seem to be occurring less frequently. Advice on where to go from here would be much appreciated, as always

Update your ATI video card drivers from the below link. Rather than a typical install however try doing a clean install of the drivers.

When i updated to 12.6 i uninstalled, restarted, ran driver sweeper, restarted, and installed from nothing. I then installed the profiles from the same driver page. I also have windows set to not install drivers automatically on boot as it was causing the wrong version to be installed on my previous gpu.

Is this what you mean by clean install? (Typed this on my phone sorry for any gramatical errors)

A clean install removes the previous version and installs the new one. You should be able to do this by selecting a custom install rather than a typical one..

Could you please post your latest dumps?

Apparently when I followed a guide for performing a clean install of ATI drivers, the CCleaner program wiped all my dump files. Sorry to waste your time :/

I notice that you still have Trend Micro installed. I would highly recommend uninstalling it at least for the time being. In the meantime you can install Microsoft Security Essentials which is free and just as good.

You should also update your Razer drivers as they are known to cause BSODs.

When you next get a BSOD (although hopefully you don't) can you please upload the dump files? Also make sure you uncheck dump files in CCleaner.

I uninstalled trend micro/installed microsoft security essentials like you said, and just uninstalled the razer drivers since all they do is add the ability to make macros which I don't use.

Wish I would've payed attention to what it was sweeping off, sorry for the screw up :/

Took a while but I think? my system got another bsod. This time I was playing world of warcraft, which doesn't put much stress on it. The computer froze up and made the same buzzing sound like a bsod, but no actual blue screen with dump info showed up and I had to hold the power button to make it turn off.

After I restarted and booted up bluescreenview to see what caused it, the directory turned up empty with no dump files in the minidump folder. Am I looking in the wrong place?
