That doesn't sound like a BSOD. I would suggest a problem with the game, or perhaps hardware such as the PSU or GPU.

Have you tried reinstalling the game?

Test your video card using Furmark. Watch your machine's temps and stop the test if it starts to overheat or artifacts appear on the screen.

Installed and ran Furmark, temp evened out at 85c with the suggested burn in settings/post FX. I didn't see any artifacts and it ran for about 15 minutes, so I think it passed. Ran the game's repair tool with no problems found.

I'm about to reinstall the game, relieved to hear it's not a bsod after all

So I received another one today, and thought I would upload everything asked for in the new (to me) posting instructions since I accidently wiped them last time.

This latest dump points to memory corruption:
Test your RAM using Memtest86+. Let it run until 6-8 passes have completed or errors have been found.

Sorry for the long delay, but I finally got a chance to run memtest today. I let it complete 6 passes as suggested and it found no errors.

The following drivers need to be updated:

Code:
Afc.sys Wed Jul 12 15:48:20 2006 (44B48D24)
These drivers can be found by searching them in Google and then finding the associated software or driver. Finally, find the latest version of this driver or software and download and install it. Some of the drivers may also be found here (if the driver says 'Windows Update' simply make sure all Windows Updates are installed).

You should also update any other drivers you can think of including graphics, audio, chipset, SSD etc.

I googled and found afc.sys belongs to arcsoft aspi shell, but when I open the arcsoft program and check for updates it tells me everything is already up to date. I've gone to the directory and cannot locate it there either.

I also had another blue screen today, this one says system_service_exception. The caused by driver is atikmdag.sys again, but the bugcheck code ends in 3b rather than 50.

I would recommend uninstalling the Arcsoft program for now.

Enable Driver Verifier. Enabling this should hopefully crash your system and then point to the faulty driver that is causing problems. However before you do, it is advised that you create a system restore point and backup first.

Ok so I uninstalled the arcsoft totalmedia extreme 2 program, and when I went to enable driver verifier afc.sys was still on the list.

I've been running my system for about 4 hours now with no BSOD after enabling verifier.exe (as instructed in the guide) and rebooting the computer. Do I need to run games that put lots of stress on the system or will verifier to all the work in the background?
