    Executables crashing for no reason

    Hello.

I have come across an issue lately that is kinda pissing me off. I installed iTunes in order to update my iPhone but for some unknown reason after I installed iTunes many of my executables crash for no reason. When I say crash I mean they won't even start up. The executables that crash are random each time and when I do a system restore it gets fixed till it gets messed up again. It even seems to happen after a clean installation of Windows.

The exact crash report of each executable looks like this:

    Code:

I am not sure what the english translation of these labels could be, I am using the Greek version of Windows 7.

    Here's a screenshot too:

This happens also in Microsoft's pre-installed games (Minesweeper, Chess etc) EVERY time (in addition to the random executables).

Do you guys have any idea what could be causing that? I also want a permanent fix. I am not really fond of system restoring each time this happens.

I don't really see how a BSOD dump file could help you with my issue. I am not getting any BSOD.

Alright, here's my crash dump log.

P.S: Restarting my system doesn't really work.
Please get back to me soon, it really pissed me off cause it happens randomlly. Even if I format my pc, it happens after a day or two.

I no longer see that error since you re-installed Windows. Glad you resolved it. :)

I didn't fix anything. You can see in $evtx_app_dump.txt that chess.exe is has crashed. That's the problem I've got. Every application crashes for the same exact reason.

Given this happens with a fresh install, there may be a problem with your Windows installation. Please follow the Windows Genuine and Activation Issue Posting Instructions. Post the results in your next post; do not start a new thread.

I don't think it's an installation problem. I've used the same Windows CD before and it was fine for more than 3 years. As I see it throws exception code c0000005 which is access violation exception. Can it be my RAMs? I've been getting BSODs with "Memory Management" reason lately but I didn't really think it could be related to the executables.

I am afraid your installation is not genuine. Non-Genuine Windows contains security leaks and also cannot be properly updated which may result in instabilities and blue screen crashes. If you were not aware that your Windows was Non-Genuine, contact your seller or the company that provided the seller and file a complaint. Also let Microsoft know of the problem.

I am sorry, but due to forum rules, we may not assist you further unless you install a genuine version of Windows 7. Once you have installed a genuine version:
Please follow the Windows Genuine and Activation Issue Posting Instructions. Post the results in your next post; do not start a new thread.
