BSOD with utorrent, netio.sys, maybe caused by Sophos antivirus?

System info: Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit, SP1, came preinstalled on my Toshiba laptop, which is about 2.5 years old.

Like many, I am getting BSOD while using uTorrent, sometimes after 5 minutes of using uTorrent, sometimes after much longer. My bsod files are attached.
    Things I have already tried:
    1. I downloaded Driver Genius and have used that to update all of my drivers.
    2. I was originally using Sophos Antivirus. I uninstalled that and replaced it with MSE. However, I have been unable to find a Sophos "Removal Tool" as can be found for Symantec and McAfee. Perhaps there are some remnants of Sophos still affecting my PC? I have no idea.
    3. I have tried running various different versions of uTorrent (including 2.2.1 which a lot of people say is the most reliable).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

    Device Concerns:
    Code:
TAIYO YUDEN Bluetooth Controller EYTFEBSAX-A	USB\VID_0930&PID_0200\002258E83F02	This device is disabled.
Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Virtual Miniport Adapter for Windows x64	ROOT\NET\0000	This device is disabled.
Were the above intentional? If so, please explain your reasoning so we may understand your troubleshooting steps.

    Analysis:
All crashes point to your network adapter drivers. Re-install all drivers after downloading them from the Toshiba support site. Do not download and install them from anywhere else for the time being. You will find the devices under Network adapters in Device Manager.

To fully re-install a driver, use the following steps.
    1. First, download the latest driver. Then do the next steps.
    2. Click Start Menu
    3. Right Click My Computer/Computer
    4. Click Manage
    5. Click Device Manager from the list on the left
    6. Find the device you are trying to uninstall by expanding the appropriate set of devices
    7. Right click the device
    8. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
    9. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
    10. Restart your computer only if Windows asks you to.
    11. Install the latest driver for the device.

    Alternatively:
    1. Login as an adminstrative user.
    2. First, download the latest driver. Then do the next steps.
    3. Click Start Menu
    4. Click Control Panel
    5. Click Hardware and Sound
    6. Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
    7. Find the device you are trying to uninstall by expanding the appropriate set of devices
    8. Right click the device
    9. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
    10. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
    11. Restart your computer only if Windows asks you to.
    12. Install the latest driver for the device.

Thank you for the tip. Unfortunately, I updated the network driver and experienced the same result. However, I seem to have subsequently fixed the problem. I followed the advice given to me on a Microsoft Answers forum, and that did the trick. The advice they gave me:
I don't see any evidence of Sophos drivers present.
However there is a driver that is loaded on the system, the acsock64.sys, that may be at contributing to the issue.
What you could try is to install the following hotfix for the netio.sys which may solve the issue:
Computer stops responding when you run an application that uses the Windows Filtering Platform API in Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008, or Windows Vista
There is a link at the top of the article to request the hotfix
If problem persists then consider uninstalling the Cisco software that installed the acsock64.sys.
