BSOD with utorrent, netio.sys, maybe caused by Sophos antivirus?
System info: Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit, SP1, came preinstalled on my Toshiba laptop, which is about 2.5 years old.
Like many, I am getting BSOD while using uTorrent, sometimes after 5 minutes of using uTorrent, sometimes after much longer. My bsod files are attached.
Things I have already tried:
1. I downloaded Driver Genius and have used that to update all of my drivers.
2. I was originally using Sophos Antivirus. I uninstalled that and replaced it with MSE. However, I have been unable to find a Sophos "Removal Tool" as can be found for Symantec and McAfee. Perhaps there are some remnants of Sophos still affecting my PC? I have no idea.
3. I have tried running various different versions of uTorrent (including 2.2.1 which a lot of people say is the most reliable).
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!
