Simply applying a new license will not help. The exploit used to put the invalid license on the system will still be on the system and causing security vulnerabilities and issues with the Windows installation that may continue to cause crashes. You will need to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 with your genuine version of Windows.
