First and foremost, you need to install a Genuine Windows. Given all the types you are installing, I suspect they are not genuine and that in itself may cause problems. Non-Genuine Windows contains security leaks and also cannot be properly updated which may result in instabilities and blue screen crashes.

Do you have a genuine version of Windows to install that you purchased or received from a reliable source (not torrents or 3rd party sites, but a Microsoft site or distributor)?


You may have to accept that your processor is faulty, but we should worry about that after you install a genuine Windows system.

I have a license for a professional win 7 and that was the first to try but when i got that problem i tried the other types . i was working on this processor on another pc with GIGAbyte MB and it was just fine with win7. i think the the Multi-processor option in the bios configuration of my pc now has something to do as a conflict with other driver but i can not identify it . i tried another VGA card but no use .

Remove your processor and check for bent pins. I did not realize you had moved the processor; it may have been damaged in the process either due to a bent pin or many bent pins or due to static electricity [you do not have to feel the static electricity discharge (ESD) to damage electronics].

As you add and remove hardware or check for bent pins, follow these steps for ESD safety:

1. Shut down and turn off your computer.
2. Unplug all power supplies to the computer (AC Power then battery for laptops, AC power for desktops)
3. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds to close the circuit and ensure all power drains from components.
4. Make sure you are grounded by using proper grounding techniques, i.e. work on an anti-static workbench, anti-static desk, or an anti-static pad. Hold something metallic while touching it to the anti-static surface, or use an anti-static wristband to attach to the anti-static material while working. If you do not have an anti-static workbench, desk, or pad, you can use your computer tower/case by finding a metal hold in it, such as a drive bay.

Once these steps have been followed, it is safe to remove and replace components within your computer.

first of all i deal carefully with electronic components coz i'm an electronic engineer
the processor has successfully installed win xp ( without disabling the multi-processor option )
i only could install win 7 with this option disabled and after enabling it i can not boot to win7
i tried safe mode with multiprocessor enabled and it logged on fine , i checked system reports about the crash especially the IRQ for drivers and the only thing that i found for me as strange was ( intel(R) ICH9 family PCI EXPRESS Root Port2 ) with IRQ ( 4294967294) and i think this is not normal
i have attached the last dump report to look over it .

Crashes point to your processor driver. Did you check that your hardware is compatible with Windows 7 prior to installing it? Windows 7 Compatibility: Software Programs & Hardware Devices: Find Updates, Drivers, & Downloads -> Download and run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor

i have checked my system with win7 upgrade advisor and it said that every thing is ok to install

finally i changed my processor from quad 9400 2.6ghz 6mb cach 1333fsp to
quad 6600 2.4ghz 8mb cach 1066 fsp and guess what it finally worked ..... ooooooooh
