Windows crash while resuming from standby window's says it was a BSOD

Been having some strange crashes recently. When I resume my netbook from standby it restarts. Windows error report thingy said it had a BSOD and had to restart.

A few months ago I had an even stranger problem where I was unable to load windows because of some windows update... It just launched to a black screen with a mouse and never changed regardless of the time it was allowed to sit at that screen. Luckily a system restore fixed that problem, but I have been getting the crashes while trying to resume from standby ever since.

System Info:
Asus Eee Pc 1201n

Intel atom process
Nvidia ion graphics
4 gigs of ram (Only 3.5gig usable due to 32 bit os)
Windows 7 32 bit

Analysis:
Crashes were all caused by your PdaNet USB wireless tether. Please update or remove the software/device.
