BSOD at random times, "System Service Exception"

hey,
Recently I have been getting BSOD's with the error "System Service Exception". I have Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-Bit. All of the parts of my PC are less than 6 months old. The crashes are random. Any help identifying the problem would be appreciated. Thanks

You have a D-Link DWA-125 Wireless N 150 USB Adapter(rev.A2) - Windows 7 doesn't like these devices, and when coupled with older (Vista-era) drivers it will spit out BSOD's rapidly! Here's my rant about these devices:
Quote:
I do not recommend using wireless USB devices. Especially in Windows 7 systems.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Windows 7 - and using Vista drivers with them is almost sure to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have Windows 7 drivers - DO NOT use Vista drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.
Turn off Driver Verifier - it's not putting out any useful information. In general this means that it's either hardware or Windows - but that all depends on the settings that you used to run it.

Video drivers date from 2011, please visit Global Provider of Innovative Graphics, Processors and Media Solutions | AMD and download the most recent version of the video drivers for your system.

Beyond that, please start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

If the above steps don't stop the BSOD's, please zip up and upload any new memory dumps with your next post - and we'll see what we can figure out from there.

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

hey, thanks for all the info. I uninstalled the wifi driver. The reason the graphics driver is old is because we suspected this was the issue and were trying out different versions, the older version seems to cause less BSOD's than the latest one but the same problem occurs. I have now removed the graphics card and uninstalled the drivers and the BSOD's seem to have stopped. We have tried replacing the RAM which seems fine, and when we replaced the graphics card the BSOD's still occured. I ran the "Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool" and it passed, I also have prime95 running at the moment. I have attached new memory dumps that happenned last night before I uninstalled the graphics drivers. Thanks again

Removed graphics card = BSOD's stopped
Replaced graphics card = BSOD's started again
Seems that it's the video card (to me)
For further confirmation I'd run the video tests from the hardware diagnostics link that I provided earlier ( Hardware Diagnostics ) - make sure that the problem graphics card is installed when doing this.

Driver Verifier doesn't seem to be turned off? Have you turned it off?
The purpose of Driver Verifier is to cause BSOD's by stressing drivers with unusual circumstances. It's entirely possible that a system will BSOD on Driver Verifier and not BSOD when it's not running (due to the tests that it uses).

uhh, yeah thanks I figured. Remember I also said replacing the graphics card with a working one also caused the BSOD's, which I have been led to believe means that this is not a problem with the graphics card but with another piece of hardware. Please correct me if I am wrong. I also ran the "Furmark" test for a while and everything seemed ok. Also I did turn verifier off, I think some of those logs may have happenned before I did it. thanks again.

Sorry, I must've missed the other post about replacing the graphics card.
If that's the case, then there's other issues (for example, the motherboard).
Could also be that the card isn't fully seated in the slot, or that there's dirt/dust in the slot.

Try the rest of the hardware diagnostics here: Hardware Diagnostics Particularly try the the other video tests (OCCT).
