Windows failed to start: \Boot\BCD 0x000000f
Hey guys, I was just using my computer when it just froze for no reason. So I had to do a (cold reboot?) and it froze on the TOSHIBA BIOS screen, which then took me to this error. I thought this was going to be easy to fix because I had it a few weeks ago (used system restore) but now I can't get to any of the advanced options. So I put in my W7 install disc I created ages ago and it booted up to the 'repair my computer'. I tried a couple of options but it said it couldn't find my hard drive listed :0 So I rebooted a few more times and tried different options to no avail. I changed the booting priority to the disc drive but it's not even booting to the disc anymore! The hard drive is still working though because it was in the boot priority list. I also have noticed whenever I reboot I'm hearing a click sound every time, perhaps it's from the hard drive? What should I do? It's just plain annoying because I will probably have assignments to write next week :/
