How long have you been running Windows 7 on this motherboard? I believe that your hardware barely can support running Windows 7. Your BIOS is from 2007 which could be problematic.
Here are some of my suggestions:
Search your hardware parts on the Windows 7 Compatibility Center, and ensure that Microsoft has approved the product to be 7 ready.
(For an automatic check, you can use the Upgrade Advisor)
I'm running Windows 7 from April 2012 I was with 32bit until 1 month ago,
I 've followed your suggestions and WUA give me a good response....I have attached a copy of this.
By windows 7 compatibility center, I went on Asus website and for my MB model (P5N-E-SLI) I've discovered that there are 9 update for my bios, but in all onesty I don't know which one is the best....I never update bios because I have seen a lot of trouble for who did.
Can you suggest any solutions?
Thanks, Clam

Updating BIOS today is not as much trouble as for 5 years ago. Today they'll do it with utilities and such. I suggest updating your BIOS to the latest.
