Windows 7: Windows 7 Crashes at Shutdown/Restart

Karlsnooks, I did. I used the link provided in an earlier post
writhziden- I can scan 3 times, but it will be difficult to restart during each, as the system will crash. It still freezes during on the shutdown screen, and I have to use the power button for a hard shut down. Should I just scan 3 times without restarting, or should I hard shut down in between?
Applying the Scan now, and both Microsoft fixes found no errors.

Finished all 3 scans, no integrity violations with any of them. Any ideas where to go from there?
Sorry about this, but I'm absolutely clueless as to how I could go about fixing this :/

Did you try any of the steps in Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7, especially the clean startup?

Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup and see if you are able to shut down with a clean boot.

I tried performing a clean-startup, but unfortunately the last step involves restarting the computer in order to activate the changes. When I try to restart, the laptop crashes, and I lose the settings. Next time I boot it up, it starts in regular mode, with normal startup programs
I also wouldn't be able to perform a repair install either, as the installation progress involves the machine restarting at several points, which would cause the machine to crash again.

Performed a clean reinstall, and I'm pleased to say, the problem has gone
The OS is a little slow at starting up and logging in, and the manufacturers splash screen is skipped completely, but I'll sort the optimization side of things later.
Big thanks to writhziden and karlsnooks for your help and advice

I've restarted several times with no problems, and I have installed all my previous drivers correctly. The Bluetooth driver still shows an error, but no longer causes the system to crash.
Since everything is pretty back to normal, I'm going to go ahead and say the problem is fixed. Thanks for the help guys
