    BSOD relating to afd.sys

it started about two weeks ago and happens around 4 times a day. i have tried many soltuions on these forums but to no avail. I will try to remember everything thats happened.

it started after i installed alot of software (got carried away and careless), including usb drivers for various programs, hardware and music production software. since than i have unistalled all this and alot of other stuff. i also downloaded a usb driver uninstaller today which got rid of 111 usb drivers (all of them). it didnt BSOD for 6 hours but than it happened.

i tried the netsh command thing many times which helps but not permanantly. i have endpoint security installed which someone said could be the problem but unistalling that is a nightmare and its been fine on this system for 5 months or so. sadly i dont have a restore point or system image, (u live and learn). i have updated punkbuster but not manually which i will try tomorrow and than try removing it completely.

i have nothing left to try which is why im posting here. there are some extensive things i can try which i found on these forums but that will be a last resort, im hoping one of you can help me. i will be checking this post alot and will respond to any ideas or questions.

i have added the zip file for diagnostics thing. I think thats everything. im going to leave it overnight and will post if it happens again. this is the dump information that windows gives me when it reloads after BSOD:

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.4
    Locale ID: 2057
    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 1000007e
    BCP1: FFFFFFFFC0000005
    BCP2: FFFFF800030A2F8D
    BCP3: FFFFF880031A18F8
    BCP4: FFFFF880031A1150
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 256_1

This is desperation, i dont want to rebuild my system...

    thanks in advance

    *update*

left my pc on all night and it didnt BSOD. when i first tried updating punkbuster a week ago i only updated the game that i play (bf3) that uses pb. last night i updated the other games as well (which i havent played in months or even years). this has worked for now. consider this fixed if this is the last you hear from me.

    PLZ NO MORE BSOD!!

thanks for anyone who read this btw, all i can say is if you have this problem pb should be first point of call, update every game individually using pbsetup from pb website and if this doesnt work, do it manually.

    at long last!
