Unfortunately, that doesn't give us the precise model number on the q430/q530.

Let 's take a look at what SPECCY says.

With Speccy, click on Motherboard then look at version and see what it says.

Or for even a little more info, you can use SIW
SIW | Hardware | Summary | look under computer, there you will probably find precisely which q430 model you have.

Links for SPECCY and SIW in my signature.

I looked under both of them and in the version area it says not applicable. I do have the model code and serial number however.

Model Code: NP-Q430-JSB1US
Serial Number: ZRSG93CZ602985W

very unusual.

To help satisfy my curiosity, use the snipping tool to make a snip of everything in the SIW | Hardare | Summary | Computer section and include in your next post.

In the meantime, I'll see what I can obtain with the numbers you gave.

Since your bios values are so unusual (do you know how that came to be?), then I don't know for sure about your bios.

Here is a link so that you can update your bios:
Support - Notebooks NP-Q430E | Samsung Laptops

Look under Manuals and Downloads and then under Firmwarel to have Samsung update your bios.

As far as I can tell, there's nothing wrong with the report, although it's the first time I've seen the Calpella BIOS associated with the LH43STAR SLIC table.
