BSOD during startup with COD Modern Warfare 3

    Hello all

I downloaded MW3 on steam this morning and have been fighting all day trying to get it to work. Ive tried updating ALL my drivers and BIOS, verified the integrity of the files from steam, and reinstalled it as well. However, on startup it shows the splash screen and then crash, BSOD.

    Here are some system specs:
    AMD FX 4100 Quad-Core 3.6 GHz
    6 GB DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7750 Graphics Card, 1GB, Core Clock 800 MHz Mem Clock 1125 MHz

Attached are the two most recent DMP files from the BSOD's, but here is what Windows says it recovers from after the crash:
    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 124
    BCP1: 0000000000000000
    BCP2: FFFFFA8007A24648
    BCP3: 0000000000000000
    BCP4: 0000000000000000
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\Minidump\072112-24039-01.dmp
    C:\Users\Nolan\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-39203-0.sysdata.xml

Ive updated what I know in my System Specs (sorry for not having done it before)

Besides MW3, everything works great. Borderlands works with no problems, as well as Diablo 3 (both on the highest settings). Normal programs work great as well. The only problems Ive had so far with this computer is MW3. Just bought the computer at the beginning of June.

I downloaded the game via Steam using all the default processes involved with Steam gaming

Well if everything works but this one program, (game) it must be the game. You stated how you downloaded it but not from where.
What site did you download it from?

I believe there may be some confusion here. I purchased and downloaded the game from the Steam Client, so Steam also handles the updates and whatnot as well

To my way of thinking if all that other stuff works as it should you could of got a bad download. That is why I asked where you got the download. Please forgive me I'm thinking again. The drivers, bios, video card ect. work for everything else. You could check the website where you got this download and see if anybody else has a problem about the same as yours and get a fresh download. I'm out of ideas.
Please check your specs. Operating system CO-Colorado is unknown to me.

I've completely uninstalled, deleted, then redownloaded and reinstalled four times now. Steam also has the "verify integrity of local cache" to make sure all the files are correct. I keep getting the error though. Mainly I want to know what the dump files say is happening because the blue screen error (124) apparently means a hardware problem, but I dont get how I would have any hardware problems on my computer.

I have looked at them and they are nothing but a bunch garble gook. Could you try posting another BSOD report. There are folks hear that are good at reading them as per the top of this page.

BCcode124 normally is a hardware code. What is the date of this code.
You could run a lot of hardware test, but your hardware will not know to give you a BSOD just when you run MW3. Any use of a program that puts that kind of load on the computer should also give BSOD as well. Hardware does not know what game you are playing.
This might help. Some one else with similar problem.
