BSOD Immediately After Fresh Installation of Windows 7 x64 bit

    Hi guys,

I was wondering if someone could help me out. I just recently installed a new copy of windows on my OCZ Vertex 3 90GB SSD. When the computer restarted to finish the setup, it gave me a BSOD for .5 second and then restarted my computer.

I have it in my Bios that it's configured where it uses AHCI because for some reason IDE no longer identifies all of my SATA ports and what's plugged in them.

I do not have a factory built PC. I have a Gaming Rig I've built myself. I'm simply at loss of ideas on how to fix this problem I'm having with this SSD.

    My stats are as follows:

    900 w Rocketfish Gaming PSU
    Windows 7 x64
    EVGA GTX 460
    OCZ Vertex 3 SSD
    2 SATA HDD
    1 IDE HDD

If any more information is needed please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Unplug all other HD's except target SSD and wipe it with Diskpart Clean Command.

Follow these steps to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

If it crashes again test the RAM - Test with Memtest86+
