Did you reinstall WIn7 after changing the CPU? Follow these same steps to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Update your drivers to see if that helps. Watch for newer via optional Updates after enabling to Automatically get recommended drivers and updates for your hardware .'

Here are additional Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 - Windows 7 Forums

If necessary run Driver Verifier to identify issues with Windows drivers for advanced users .

    Hi,
Tried to run 'Verifier' but it requested that I allow the PC to restart.

So I shut down and restarted.
I noticed that the loading of the OS was taking some time and when I was actually able to log in it was running slow.

Once I'd logged in it was taking a lot longer than usual to load and in about 15seconds it Blue screened.
I am not unable to use Windows7 because it keeps blue screening.

I'm on the same pc but that's because I have windows XP installed on my secondary HDD in case my main HDD died or if there was a problem with Windows7.
Looks like I made the right call huh? :P

Anyway, will re-install windows7 and see just what the hell is going on. Also in contact with AMD because I had absolutely NO issues until I installed the new CPU.

This is a confusing one for me, I've checked my PSU and it's fine. (Corsair GS700 700w)

Stick closely with the steps in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which represent what works best in tens of thousands of reinstalls we've helped with here.

In particular drivers are handled differently in Win7 than XP, so read and follow the driver steps closely.
