    BSOD Once

Hello, I just wanted to post this because I got one BSOD today. So far I haven't had another one since but, I did want to start a thread and ask what's wrong. I remember it saying something about hardware being installed incorrectly. I did recently installed ram eight days ago. I'm pretty sure I installed it correctly or I believe I would've had this error earlier.

    Thanks,
    -Rick

EDIT: I just got another BSOD and now I re-installed the old ram 3GB and I noticed visual errors when maximizing a window. If someone can help ASAP I would appreciate it because I currently can't afford a new Pc.

    Hello there!

I believe it's a RAM problem. The RAM should be compatible with the Motherboard and should have same frequency as the other RAMs. Same company and model is preferred. Refer the RAM manual and go into BIOS and check the voltage and timings make sure it's set according to the books.

I do believe the RAM did it because I took out the old RAM and I haven't had a BSOD yet. I'm going to take the RAM back and try to get the same company as my original RAM which is Samsung.

    Thank you for your help,
    -Rick
