Windows 7: Random BSOD's since fresh build. Error 0x0000001e.

Hello everyone.

I built a computer about a month ago and ever since the first attempt to install windows it has been giving me blue screens. The computer is working someone fine most of the time now, but still has a daily to twice a day blue screen error. I have done everything that google has said (Memtest, driver updates, HDD diagnostics, BIOS update, check registry, scan for virus, etc.) with no help. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciative.

Could you update your full system specs in your profile, please?

The last 3 BSODs you had - 2 were 1E errors caused by ntkrnlmp.exe and you had a 3B error caused by fltmgr.sys.

Could you uninstall AVG and install MSE for testing purposes, and also disable/uninstall AppleCharger as this can cause problems (http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/utility.aspx - The On/Off charge utility. Not the one for Intel 7 series).

Try running sfc /scannow, also if your motherboard has a parallel port, then disable it within the BIOS.

I updated my profile for the system specs and I went ahead and uninstalled the AppleCharger and AVG. I am right now running the sfc scan.

If it means anything, when I restarted my PC to have the applecharger uninstall take effect I got the 3B error.

Update: The scan found no integrity violations.

Update: I am still getting BSOD, but I started a driver verifier using these steps and right after the restart got an error.

Attached is the minidump for that (the most recent one), and two other new (I think) minidumps.

Do these show a possible driver name that is causing this?

2 out of 3 of your last BSODs were caused specifically AVG drivers. The other one is a memory_corruption error, which is usually caused by a driver.

AVG doesn't seem to have uninstalled itself properly as you have quite a few AVG system files still around. If you go here AVG Antivirus & Security Software - Download tools and utilities and download AVG Remover (download either 32 bit or 64 bit depending on your Windows version) and boot in to safe mode to uninstall it to make sure it's properly gone and then boot back in to Windows. And then just have Microsoft Security Essentials installed.

You're right. AVG wasn't uninstalled correctly. I'll do that now and post back when I get another error. Thank you.

Update: It went a day and a half without any errors or warnings shown in the Event Viewer, but then last night had 2 BSoD's. Do the files I attached (#3) pinpoint the cause?

Edit: Oops, I messed it up. Didn't click save after attaching and am away from the computer right now. Ill update it later.

I updated the original post with a new zip folder (#3) with new minidumps caused since the removal of AVG. Is there anything in them to pinpoint the cause?

Hello everyone.

This computer is giving me issues left and right with blue screens. Attached is the minidump file. I went 3 days since updating the bios with no errors, and then a few hours ago had a blue screen while watching an Amazon video and rewinding/fast forwarding.

I have ran the HDD diagnostics, Memtest, registry check, downloaded all components updated drivers, etc. all with no errors found.

If anyone can read the file attached and tell me the cause of this recent blue screen I would appreciate it.
