BSOD F4 all games, maybe AHCI or sound related ?

Hi everyone, i come here as a somewhat last resort. I knew my way on windows since 3.11 up to XP, but it looks like i am now lost

    My problem:

i installed 7 recently on the SSD ( see profile for config info ) with AHCI enabled in the bios.

It worked fine. For 4 days. Then i installed guild wars 2 beta on it, and by doing so i may have triggered something by going over half disk capacity ...

Since then, whenever i (try to) play a game, i have between 5 seconds and 2 minutes before sound disappears, then screen gets corrupted, then F4 BSOD and computer restarts.

It happens wether the game is on the SSD or the HDD, wether AHCI is enabled or not in the bios; yet it DOES NOT happen on windows XP, which is still installed on the HDD, and has been installed WITHOUT AHCI support.

I can play the game from the SSD under windows XP, but i cannot play ANY game under windows 7.

I have 2 sound card: integrated one (selected and used as playback device, spdif ) and an external USB one. Main reason being my computer is 5 meters away, and i sometimes need a headset and microphone. When i do need to do that, i switch the active sound card. It works under XP, 7 has all it needs to work in the same way.

I dont know if the sound stopping is part of the problem or not; i thought it was worth mentionning.

Since then i have tried these, and they all failed:
    1/ installed windows again
2/ installed latest intel rapid storage driver (d/l from intel)
3/ installed latest non beta bios for my motherboard
4/ installed latest firmware on the SSD, which was supposed to get rid of this problem (it looks like sandisk knows about it)
5/ installed chipset driver from manufacturer
6/ changed SSD port and cable
7/ using windows 7 with AHCI disabled in the bios
8/ installed via crappy sound driver for the integrater sound controller (previous install, did not do it again)

The SSD is connected to the primary controller, not the jmicron one.

I do believe it is related to the SSD, windows 7 64 & AHCI. But i cant find a solution. If you have something.

The computer is rock stable when i just browse around the internet. I tried loading it with OCCT benchmark, nothing happened.

Any idea ? Got the .zip attached too (yes, i read tutorials )

    Thanks guys !

Ok, thanks for not helping me, i am going to self answer this thread.

I turned on "high performance" in the power management page. It worked.

    For 4 days.

Now it does it again. I have not changed the slightest thing on the computer. This is driving me crazy.

I may have some ideas though, it looks like it is related to my other HDD, which is a samsung spinpoint f3 1Gb and which is supposed to have sata problems with one firmware.

I am currently trying to flash a new firmware on it. Will report on solving the issue or not.
