Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum but I am having trouble since installing a new build and have had numerous BSODS. I have since discovered that the ram I was using was faulty and am in the process of RMAing it. Changing for old ram seemed to give better stability but I am still getting occasional BSOD. The latest was 0x0000001e (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000). I have run Ccleaner previously to this and it seemed to help but 24hrs later this has happened. I cant seem to figure out what it is and would greatly appreciate if someone could tell me what might be causing this.

Thanks,
Gil

Hello,

Code:
GVTDrv64.sys Tue Sep 5 02:10:02 2006 (44FD22CA)
This driver is related to the Gigabyte Easy Tune 6 tool. Which are known problems with windows 7. Also it dates back to 2006. Drivers before 2009 are generally known to cause problems, as well.

Either update the driver here: GIGABYTE - Support & Downloads - Utility - Motherboard or just remove it.

Code:
Unknown Device	USB\VID_0000&PID_0000\5&1679B462&0&1	43
Would you possibly know what this device is?

In the dump file, it is showing a NTFS error.

Do the following:

After please post back results.

-Justin

Hey thanks for the advice. I did what you suggested and just got rif of Et6. I ran both the validation and chkdsk, they didnt show up anything. However after rebooting I got a ton of BSOD. 0x00000024 and 0x0000001e, with also one marked 0x000000D1. It seemed to happen every time i tryed to connect to the net so I uninstalled and reinstalled ethernet drivers and also deleted chrome.

As for the usb device it could be one of 3 devices: mouse, sidewinder joystick or a external HD.

I have the new dumps, if the item is shown as still on the system then it is the mouse, which I have updated the drivers for using windows update.

Thanks, this is massivly appriciated.

Try unplugging the external HDD, and the joystick.

Code:
PROCESS_NAME: SUPERAntiSpywa
Also try uninstalling Anti-spyware

After post back results.

Hi Justin,
Ok so I have uninstalled the antivirus. I tryed reinstalling cgrome and the system threw the 0x00000024. Strangly on reboot chrome appears in the start menu but is inactive and wont start and does not appear under the list of installed applications.
