Check for updated drivers.
I also do this with every machine I set up because the feature doesn't work quite right.
To Disable Selective Suspend:

open the control panel
go to power options (you may have to set view to small icons)
click change plan settings
in the window that opens:
click change plan settings
click change advanced power settings, expand usb and ensure usb selective suspend is disabled.

Odds are you have a outdated version of the driver if it's crashing right off the bat though.

it disables a power feature for usb devices in windows 7.
This power feature is not supported by a lot of older hardware and drivers and newer ones work just fine without it. Thus I have taken to just turning it off.

Turning it off changes nothing from the user end, outside of eliminating a possible cause of failure you will not notice any difference in performance or power consumption from changing the setting.

BSOD when starting computer up
Yo. Every time I start my computer up I get a black screen and then it turns blue. This happens before the login screen. This started after I installed my Nvidia driver. If I disable it or remove it then my computer works fine. Oh and Safemode works with no problems.
