blue screen error

    blue screen error


    i was just playing chess on my desktop and my computer restarted automatically and gave the blue screen error

    i have tried changing my harddrive but it still has the same problem

    it gives me this error

    Hello usmahn, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    From your dump file, it shows this below. It looks like you may need to update your NVIDIA graphics driver to the latest version. If you already did, then try completely uninstalling and reinstalling it, or rolling back to an older driver version that did work properly for you.

    Probably caused by : nvlddmkm.sys

    Latest NVIDIA ForceWare Video Drivers Windows 7

    It's nvidia, go to the following link and let it autodetect - NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Automatically Detect NVIDIA Products

    it has a setup error.
    setup detetced the opearting system in use is not windows. wheras i am using windows vista in safe mode?

    For your NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE in a 32-bit Windows 7 or Vista

    For 301.42 WHQL version: NVIDIA DRIVERS 301.42WHQL

    OR

    For 304.79 BETA version:NVIDIA DRIVERS 304.79BETA

    Try uninstalling the current drivers, then installing the newest ones.

    If you're still in safe mode you will need to boot in normal mode.
