    Random Stop Errors + Crashes

Hey everyone, for a while now I've been getting a lot of BSODS and random crashes after startup and i don't know what is causing them. The problem seems to occur when playing certain games. Heating does not seem to be the cause of the problem.

*The HDD was installed clean a few weeks ago

I have uploaded the "Seven Forums" folder.

    Welcome
The clues given by your reports seem to indicate a hardware problem. Lets start with the most common memory.
    Memtest86.com - Memory Diagnostic
Search for the free CD download.
If you pass the test, I will administer a driver verifier. If you pass the cause is most assuredly hardware and we will contiune along those lines.

    Thanks for the reply.
    Memtest86 passed with no errors.
The memory test built into the BIOS passed aswell.

With all respect, the Memtest cannot be adminisered in 3 hours. It must be done for 8 passes and then each stick must be tested. It is a long 8 hour process.

    Sorry,
I left it for an hour or so and came back and my comp was turned off. I assumed it had finished with no errors.
Ill try it again and get back to you

There seems to be a problem running the test. I left it on last night and when i awoke, my comp had overheated.
So before i went to school i attempted the test again with the comp on a cooling pad with a window close by open with a cold breeze flowing and it still over heated.

But i learnt that there were errors found (over 90,000) regarding my CPU.

You found out several things. The computer should NOT overheat during the test. Its possible that overheating was the cause of your BSODs.
Second you found out about your CPU this might be the cause of your BSODS
Many have taken this test, there has never been a complaint about over heating. I would look into all these areas and then see if you still BSOD.
