Could this be due to compatibility between memtest and ivy bridge? I only built this pc around 6 days ago and it was fine for a few days until I installed a lot of new program's and drivers.

800,000 errors! Holy Kenobi! Stop the test.

Are you able borrow a couple of sticks of your friends, family etc., and then replace them with the ones you currently have, and see if it's fixing the problem?

Best Regards,
Frederik.

Unfortunately I am not able to borrow memory. I indeed stopped it immediately, and from your reaction I take it that is unusual. Do you think this is incorrect, because I can still actually access my computer and get on windows.

Also looking at the change log it doesn't appear that it's compatible with ivy bridge cpu's.

No, no it wouldn't be.

Alright so I'm assuming sandy bridge compatibility is also ivy, cool. What should be my next step of action then? Again thanks for the friendly support so far!

No problem.

I have to make a correction, I showed a quote that supports Sandy Bridge, and not Ivy Bridge. Those are not the same at all. Though, there's a beta available which shows supports for Ivy Bridge.

Memtest86+ v. 5.00 Beta - Ivy Bridge Support

I'm not a big fan of betas, but it's necessary in this situation I believe.

Frederik.

Ok, when I get a chance next, probably either later tonight or early tomorrow I will be sure to run the beta! Thanks for the support and I will report back, hopefully with no errors, when I run the test! Thanks again.

Run the beta, I still get the same amount of errors. What I don't understand is that if I have so many, how come I can use windows normally, except for the bsod's of course.
