    Well not exactly Justin.....

    SFC is more for windows files system check

    What he has is a SMART error which is more related to the physical hard drive... something like Seagate Seatool or WD or Samsung software.....

    Also he could use GRC's Spinrite to check the HDD as well.

    So to get it clear in my mind I do a scannow on the machine with the drive in situ?

    I did a Seagate tools scan a while ago and they came up pass for this drive and my SSD but will run again and see.

    Its worse trying to do a BSOD analysis lol. But go ahead re run the Seagate tools. Just for safe measures.

    Well fellas I think game over as the wretched thing showed up in Seagate then promptly disappeared it's spinning but no SATA connection.
