Windows 7: BSOD when loading up Skyrim.

The graphics card I have is an ASUS Radeon HD 7770 2GB. But the PC seems to recognise it as an AMD/ATI card

Oh alright I see.
Maybe you handled that driver during the card driver you installed earlier. If you experience further BSODs, just go ahead and upload it to your further posts.
Do you appear to have any additionally ASUS Graphic Boosters installed? Anything at all?

Just built a new pc yesterday and im having exactly the same problem. I also have a ASRock Z77 Extreme4 so I would assume that is the cause of the problem.

I found a solution last night, what you have to do is uninstall a program called Virtu MVP. It gets installed when you install your drivers for your motherboard
