BSOD - power_state_failure error on New PC (Shutdown/Restart)

    Hello,

I was having an issue with a Power_state_failure every time I shutdown or restart the PC. It's a new PC and It has had this problem straight out of the box. When I get the blue screen it forces me to shut it down improperly. Furthermore, the computer freezes without a blue screen while restarting or shutting down and this also forces a hard shutdown. I have uploaded the results from the tool and thanks in advance for your help

Well hmmm this explains why there is not minidump

Unable to produce a minidump file from the full dump file.
Please do memtest for your memory for atleast 6 to 8 passes.... if you find errors then get that replaced....

    Hello Again,

Just Following up, I ran the Memory Test and there were no errors. I got on the phone with a representative from the company I purchased the PC from and they thought it might be a software related issue with Windows 7. He walked me through and suggested I remove one memory at a time to see if I still get that error. The error still kept happening so he suggested a clean install of Windows 7. I installed windows 7 again (not a big deal new computer anyway had no important files on it yet) and the problem is gone. I am now getting normal shutdowns and reboots. Thanks again for the help :)

Good to hear the issue has gone with a reinstall.

Appreciate if you could close this post as resolved
