When I plugged in the USB stick, the computer displayed a 0xFE bug check. Caused by usbport.sys
When I looked for the dump file to upload, Windows detected that the file size was 0KB.

       Information
    Just some input from me..

Possible fix| Go to Device Manager > Expand the USB list > Uninstall every driver (not device) and Reboot Windows.
Let Windows detect them and reinstall them.
    • What kind of USB Devices to you have attached to your hub?

Do you mean things like this?

I have a Realtek USB 2.0 Card Reader, 3 standard Enhanced PCI to USB host controllers, 5 standard OpenHCD USB Host Controllers, and 7 USB root Hubs

I don't really think that my card reader has anything to do with USB. But Device Manager says it is. But How?

You can't really harm anything. I'm just going to let Karl take over again, it was just a little input. :)

    Karlsnooks,

As you said, I have to update Win 7 to use Windows Defender Offline.
NO! I did not say that.

Now follow that procedure for WDO.

    That is in post #15.
