Frequent BSOD - 0x000000c2 etc Hi guys,
I'm having some rather frustrating problems with my machine atm. At least once a day it'll hang with either a BAD_POOL_CALLER or related Bsod.
These can range from working in photoshop to just opening a new tab in firefox.
I've included the SF Diag files with this post and would be incredibly grateful if somebody could point me in a direction.
Also here's a link to a minidump file on skydrive - https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resi...LQ_0FUCZOYdOGc
Many thanks. | My System Specs |

Welcome
You have given us only on dump report, which is unfortunate, since the more we have the more accurate our diagnosis.
In your case memory was desginated as the cause. Run test for 8 passes, then test each stick for 6 passes Guide to using Memtest86+ - Geeks to Go Forums | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell XPS 420 OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc CPU Intel Core2 processsor Q8200(2.33Ghz 1333FSB) Quad Core Tech Motherboard Dell Memory 6 gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon 256MB HD3650 Sound Card Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell SP2009W 20" Keyboard Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dell Premium Optical USB Cooling Fan Hard Drives 640 GB Serial ATA Hard drive Internet Speed DSL 2.85 |

I did a full memory sweep with memtest86+ and found one of my memory sticks was throwing up errors left and right.
Since taking it out my computer has been running fine until today. Another bsod but this time with the 0x0000003b stamp.
Here's a link to the minidump file. https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resi...CcsDePyFmXHmJY

I'll attach the file normally. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 Ghz Motherboard ASUS M4A79XTD EVO Memory 8.00 GB Graphics Card ATI Radeon 5870 V2 Sound Card Sound Blaster® Audigy™ Monitor(s) Displays U2410 and LG M227WDP PSU 800W Quiet Quad Rail PSU Case COOLERMASTER HAF 932 FULL TOWER GAMING PC CASE Cooling Multiple Fans Hard Drives 1TB SERIAL ATA 3-Gb/s HARD DRIVE WITH 16MB CACHE (7,200rpm) |

The last two dumps show memory problems, again. Be sure to follow my instruction on how to test, in my earlier psot. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell XPS 420 OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc CPU Intel Core2 processsor Q8200(2.33Ghz 1333FSB) Quad Core Tech Motherboard Dell Memory 6 gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon 256MB HD3650 Sound Card Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell SP2009W 20" Keyboard Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dell Premium Optical USB Cooling Fan Hard Drives 640 GB Serial ATA Hard drive Internet Speed DSL 2.85 |

The first dump in the zip is from the original post and so pre tests sf tool just bundled it along too.
I've run Memtest 86+ on each memory stick individually, with 3/4 sticks completing 6 passes successfully. Those are the only 3 sticks in the machine now and I got the second of the Bsod's today with a different stop code.
If it is still a memory issue then I'm a little stumped, as they all ran through the 8 tests together fine and 6 individually. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 Ghz Motherboard ASUS M4A79XTD EVO Memory 8.00 GB Graphics Card ATI Radeon 5870 V2 Sound Card Sound Blaster® Audigy™ Monitor(s) Displays U2410 and LG M227WDP PSU 800W Quiet Quad Rail PSU Case COOLERMASTER HAF 932 FULL TOWER GAMING PC CASE Cooling Multiple Fans Hard Drives 1TB SERIAL ATA 3-Gb/s HARD DRIVE WITH 16MB CACHE (7,200rpm) |
