BSOD 0x00000034, during Microsoft Security essentials scan.

    Greetings to everyone!

I would appreciate the help with BSOD on 08/15/12(in the attachment). Used the machine all day with no problems; some gaming, some work. Skyping while started a full system scan with Microsoft Security essentials; walked away. Station crashed sometime during the scan, presumably. Could someone please interpret for me what options are on the table in terms of testing and hunting down this cause? Machine is behaving normally at the moment. Will update if it exhibits new symptoms.

    Thanks,
    Anton.

P.S. There will be several other dump files of an earlier date in the attachment, but those are already solved(wire blocking gfx-card fan from spinning).

    haxx,
Welcome to SevenForums. You made a good start. Us this to complete those specs.

    Update your SevenForums System Specs
User CP (located on the top menu bar) |
Your Profile | Edit System Spec
    (left-hand column)

To gather info, use Speccy (my favorite) or SIW or System Info

In the System Manufacturer Block, enter:
    Manufacturer and Model and
ADD the word laptop, desktop, netbook or tablet.
    For example:
    Toshiba Satellite L305D notebook.

Provide full windows version info, for example:
    MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader,
Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor, etc

Scroll down and click on SAVE CHANGES.

You will find that in Speccy, you can select info from the display
using your mouse/touchpad and then paste that info into your specs.

SIW is a marvelous program, but the free version does not offer
    this capability.

    Excellent.

Now include those files in your next post. Never put a file into an old post. Helps to maintain continuity.

WIN | type MSCONFIG | ENTER | STARTUP tab |
    Uncheck ALL except for:
    Script:
MSC    Microsoft Corporation    "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\msseces.exe" -hide -runkey
    REBOOT!

You have just told Win 7 to not run unchecked programs at start up time.

You have not disabled the programs. They will be run when needed.

WIN = key with the Microsoft logo on top

My experience with clonedrive is that the program works as advertised and still more.
I recommend that you uninstall CloneDrive 100% and only reinstall when the program is needed.
    CloneDrive, cloneZilla are problematic.

CCLEANER | TOOLS icon | STARTUP tab | SCHEDULED TASKS tab |

    Close CCleaner.

    REBOOT!

You have not disabled any programs. You have disabled the scheduled running.
Later, after your system is running smoothly, you may reenable desired programs.

    UNINSTALL

    Script:
    VirtualCloneDrive    Elaborate Bytes    4/25/2012
Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor    Microsoft Corporation    6
    /6/2012    9.53 MB    2.0.5000.0
    REBOOT

Current version of firefox is 14.0.1

I would also uninstall this one during testing. This is Win 7 and such tools really have nothinng to offer and can only slow your machine down.
    NetBalancer SeriousBit 4/21/2012 6.15 MB

Compliments that actually your list of installed programs is generally sound. I see some real disasters.

    haxx,
I notice that your bios is out-of-date
go here to download the latest:
Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]

I notice also that DELL does not list Win 7 drivers for your computer. Quite often the Vista drivers will work if you would like to check to see if maybe some of your drivers need to be updated.
