    BSOD with ntoskrnl.exe

My boss is using a computer for video editing with Premiere Pro CS5.5 for creation of commercials, promo videos, etc. For the past few days he's been getting BSODs and all are pointing to ntoskrnl.exe but that's just a general error from what I can tell. It's not just during video editing either.

I tried reinstalling video card drivers because he reported an anomoly with it and when I went to use the check for updates in the nvidia control panel it gave me an error so I did a clean install of the drivers. It still BSOD'd once yesterday and then this morning when I came in it had BSOD'd right before I got here and all it was doing overnight was uploading to an FTP.

I've got windows memory diagnostic running on it at the moment. The standard test didnt reveal anything so I'm doing the extended. From my initial searches though, ntoskrnl.exe is more of a software issue than hardware.

Please help. I'm not sure what else to do from here.

EDIT: I also ran sfc /scannow but everything said it was okay.

I would guess it's a problem related to your SSD-disk, try updating the firmware for it.

Edit: Also update the drivers for your Marvell disk controllers.

Thank you Tobias for your speedy response. Windows memory diagnostic is on pass 11 of 11 right now so as soon as that's done I'll apply the update to the Vertex 2's Firmware.
