ok there is only 12 slots on the board the are a dual set with a 2 gb kit of 2 sticks at 1gb from kingston in them the power supply and adapter is secure same with graphics card bascially everything on the inside is how it should be as im using the same computer to type on here but from a win xp os on a 2nd hdd the xp installtion works fine no problems at all. which is why i can understand y 7 wont work the same but as i have said before i can go on win 7 safe mode and it never hangs or freezes at all its when im on the normal mode that it hangs and freezes etc. hence the confusion
Ok, when you can get on there, can you hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and run task manager and see what your CPU and Memory are doing?

I'm just lost for ideas here and When you are in Safe Mode, you are only using the bare minimum of what is needed for the computer to run. Keyboard, video, mouse (occasionally the network drivers if you chose Safe Mode with Networking) drivers are pretty much the only things running at that time. If you are logging on normal and this is happening, perhaps it's a Driver or something related to Software.

Also, when you started installing your drivers.. Did you install your Chipset Drivers first?
That is the first Driver that MUST be installed first, then you can do Sound, Video...ect....I usually go to the Mfg Motherboard site and download the latest drivers for my MB to a Thumb Drive (Flash Drive) and install them one at a time.

What is the Motherboard you are using?

Not true...the Chipset drivers you MUST install FIRST (pre-installing chipset drivers a good thing? don't come from Windows Updates, you need to get them from the Mobo site:

    http://www.foxconnsupport.com/download.aspx

They say you should not allow Windows Update to update your drivers, you should go to the mfg sites to download them.

No, either Windows 7 or Vista drivers..

you will need to go through the drop down boxed for your specific motherboard and CPU that is on this website: http://www.foxconnsupport.com/download.aspx

    DROP DOWN BOXES:

    Products
    Platform
    Socket
    Chipset
    Models

If you are unsure, try to download Sandra lite Found Here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_sandra_lite/
That should help you get all your info about your computer.

I see what you are talking about...I'm guessing that your MOBO isn't Window's 7 compatible...can you contact your MOBO mfg. and ask them? Maybe that is why you are having some issues....

Here is there contact link: http://www.foxconnsupport.com/inquiry.aspx
